Not only do we have established relationships with airlines, hotels, ferry companies and coach companies, we use local sports-tour operating expertise.

This not only ensures you receive the best fixtures for your team, but also means you have local contacts on hand to deal with any issues arising whilst you are there.

Sweet Chariot is financially secure, being covered by ATOL for packages including flights (number 5066) and by Tour Operator Payment Protection, an insurance policy issued by Travel & General.

DESTINATIONS & TOURING CENTRES

The 'touring centres' for each country provide the best opportunities for playing sport, which Sweet Chariot recommends from experience (we pride ourselves on emphasising the sporting element of each tour), as well as the best opportunities for taking in the highlights of each destination country.

It's the combination of both which determines the centres we suggest.

BILLETING

Primarily for school groups on long haul trips, we provide a billeting service. This is particularly useful to keep down cost and to get a feel for living in your destination.

In making a decision on hotel or billeting accommodation, you should bear in mind two things: firstly, some tourists will have better billets, which may mean others feel 'short-changed', and secondly, we have known billets to withdraw their offer late in the day. This can result in unforeseen hotel accommodation and unplanned extra expense.

We should also point out that billeting is not available for all tours to all destinations, so please contact our office to discuss further.

FIXTURES

As sportsmen ourselves, we place emphasis on matching up teams' standards; it's in no-one's interest to win or lose heavily.

The teams we approach tend to play against Sweet Chariot customers on a regular basis. Given our close relationship with these teams, and with a good idea of your own team's standard, we will ensure competitive fixtures.

We will adapt the itinerary to fit around those matches.

INSURANCE

It is imperative all passengers are adequately covered, particularly for playing sport abroad, as well as the usual travel eventualities. Please contact our office if you would like full details of the policy we offer.
